The Bachelor program in physics offers a broad, high-level introduction to the foundations of modern physics, dedicated lecturers from four institutes and five external research facilities, as well as well-equipped learning spaces. The Master program in physics offers some overarching courses but mainly focuses on the specialization in one of our faculty's strong research fields. It contains a one-year research phase. The language of instruction is English (exams can be taken in German at the student's request). In physics, the TU Dresden belongs in each of the three areas research, internationality and reference to applications to the strongest universities in Germany.
