The Dresdner Seniorenakademie (DSA ) was founded in 1994 as a registered association through joint activities of the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum and the TUD. Other founding institutions such as the HTW, museums and public institutions in the city were included and are still represented on the advisory board in an advisory capacity. The advisory board is always chaired by a member of the TUD. In the spirit of lifelong learning, the DSA offers excursions, guided tours, discussion groups, concerts, artistic circles, project weeks, lectures and talks for society.
At the same time, the Citizens' University was launched as a TUD program. It is supported by the Spangenberg Foundation and is intended to open up suitable courses to DSA students and other interested parties outside the TUD. The courses offered by both institutions are open to all citizens and there are no fundamental restrictions on participation. Only a semester fee and possibly a fee for individual courses are required. Integrale is responsible for the offers of the Citizens' University and is TU Dresden's contribution to the DSA program and is therefore only published on the DSA website and in the DSA semester brochure.
The current events and registration forms can be found on the website of the Seniorenakademie.
