Privacy Policy Image and Sound Recording
During ORP events, images can be captured showing individuals or groups of participants who are not the focus of the image. Media representatives, the ORP and their cooperation partners can publish the images for public information. This applies in particular to publication on tu-dresden.de/deinstudienerfolgg/ofp and in print media (information brochures, press releases, presentations). Every participating person has the right to object at any time to the production of image and sound recordings concerning themselves for reasons arising from their particular situation. The objection must be communicated to the person taking the picture or recording the sound.
By registering, you agree to receiving emails relating to the offer.
2. Legal basis for the processing of personal data (Art. 6 GDPR)
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is your voluntary and informed consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter a) GDPR.
3. Storage period
After completion of the offer and the associated evaluation, the data is anonymised and permanently stored in anonymised form.
On the event day of some ORP offers, signature lists with names and affiliations generated from the collected data will be available. These lists are permanently stored for accounting purposes, as proof of photo/video permission or refusal, as well as for receiving further information about ORP offers.
4. Data transmission and publication
For some OFP offers, as part of the event organisation (e.g. for the issue of certificates and name badges or for the application for an access permit), the name and the gender of the registered participants are forwarded to the involved company in advance. Beyond that, no data will be transferred to third parties. In principle, your personal data will not be published at any time. (Exception: see note on image and sound recording under 1.).
5. General rights of data subjects
To claim your rights, it is sufficient to notify the responsible person in writing (letter, email, or fax).
Voluntariness and revocation according to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR
The submission of personal data is voluntary. Consent to the processing of personal data may be revoked at any time pursuant to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR. The personal data of the person in question will no longer be processed.
Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR)
Data subjects have the right to obtain information on the data processed concerning them, as well as possible recipients of such data, at any time. You are entitled to a reply within one month of the responsible party for the data processing receiving your request for information.
Right to correction, deletion and limitation (Art. 16 - 18 GDPR)
Data subjects may at any time request TU Dresden to correct, delete or limit the processing of their personal data.
Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
Data subjects can request that the responsible party transfers their personal data in a machine-readable format. Alternatively, you can request the direct transfer of your personal data to a different responsible party, insofar as this is possible.
Right of appeal (Art. 77 GDPR)
It is known that every student may at any time contact TU Dresden's Data Protection Officer as well as the responsible supervisory authority for data protection if they are concerned that TU Dresden is violating the right to protect their own personal data.
