Career fields in Business Information Systems | 06.12., 5pm
In an "All You Can Ask" roundtable discussion, graduates of Business Information Systems will talk about their personal careers, everyday working life, current fields of activity and professional experience. They will also be available to answer questions.

- Gunnar Fromm
...studied mechanical engineering at the Dresden University of Technology (undergraduate studies) and then business informatics (diploma) and business administration ("Licenciado en Administración y Dirección de Empresas", Universidad de Alcalá, Spain) as part of a double degree. After working in a small consulting company (customers in the automotive, communications and media industries), at Sky Deutschland (media company, various roles in IT service management) and at Hoffmann AG (tool retailer, as Business Excellence Manager), he now works at IT4IPM, the IT subsidiary of GEMA, as Application Manager for two web applications that licensees can use to purchase their licenses and submit their invoices. He is also supporting the development of the new IT4IPM site in Dresden. -
Steffen Wilke
... completed his Master's degree in Computer Science and Information Management at the University of Augsburg after completing his Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics at the University of Kempten. He works as CTO for the international logistics software company Soloplan, headquartered in Kempten (in the Allgäu region), which also has a site in Dresden. He is responsible for the development of software solutions for the entire world of logistics. In addition to the technological tasks, Steffen Wilke is also responsible for the personnel of all development teams and manages the operational implementation of software projects. The focus here is on innovation, current technologies and the continuous further development of the product portfolio.
- Iwona Hahn
... studied Business Informatics at the HTW Dresden. She now works as a product expert for the international software company SAP SE, headquartered in Walldorf. Based at SAP Labs Dresden, she is responsible for modern product management and communication for the ABAP Platform and supports customers and partners worldwide. She is a global speaker, both online and at customer events. Iwona Hahn is an honorary examiner at the IHK Dresden on the examination board for IT specialists in application development. Before her studies, she worked for many years as a manager and trainer in the retail sector in the Munich area.
