Research Statement
I’m interested in the principles of information processing in the brain and work under the assumption that uncertainty is an important component of it. I mostly concentrate on problems related to perceptual decision making, but also cover reinforcement learning and value-based decision making on the sidelines. In addition to probabilistic cognitive models I develop and apply Bayesian methods for the statistical analysis of response data.
