Research Statement
The main aim of my lab’s research programme is to understand the sensory processes that enable us to communicate successfully with each other. We use behavioural, neuroimaging and neurostimulation techniques to develop and test novel communication models. We use these models to explain communication difficulties in populations with developmental communication impairments and patients with brain lesions. In the CRC 940 we use the tools that we have developed for neuroscientific research on communication and apply it to research questions on goal-directed behaviour (project A11).
