virTUos (virtuelles Lehren und Lernen an der TU Dresden im Open Source-Kontext) ist ein bereichsübergreifender Verbund zur Weiterentwicklung digital unterstützter Hochschullehre mit dem strategischen Ziel der curricularen Verankerung moderner Lehr- wie Lernkonzepte und wird als Einzelprojekt von 2021 bis 2024 gefördert durch die Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre (StIL) in der Förderlinie Hochschullehre durch Digitalisierung stärken.

Neuroima­ging Centre

The Neuroimaging Centre (NIC) was founded in 2006 jointly by the Faculty of Psychology and the Faculty of Medicine. It is an interdisciplinary research facility used by neuroscientific research groups of both faculties and operated in close cooperation.

Mental Health Dresden-Leipzig is a research network with particular strengths and expertise in clinical psychiatry, neuro- and cognitive psychology, basic and clinical neuroscience, epidemiology, environmental sociology, and public mental health. With translation between the above-mentioned research fields, including participatory research approaches, we aim to improve the mental health of young people.

Collaborat­ive Research Centre 940/3 - Volition and Cognitive Control

The centre, which is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), combines expertise from the fields of experimental psychology, cognitive-affective neuroscience and neuroimaging as well as clinical psychology, psychiatry and neurology. It investigates mechanisms, modulators and dysfunctions of will control on the psychological and neuronal analysis level.

Die AG "Psychosoziale Forschung Kinderonkologie Dresden - Leipzig" hat das Ziel, die psychosoziale Betreuung krebskranker Kinder und ihrer Familien zu verbessern. Dafür werden Messinstrumente zur Erfassung psychosozialer Belastungen psychometrisch untersucht und manualisierte Beratungsangebote entwickelt.

SaxoChiLD - regional research network

SaxoChiLD, a network of Leipzig University, TU Dresden and their partners, combines epidemiological surveillance of child health and development in a dynamic environmental context with special consideration of the psyche-soma interaction. With our interdisciplinary spectrum of scientific and clinical excellence in epidemiology, environmental research, immunology, obesity and mental health along with a powerful complementary infrastructure, we address new health risks emerging from the interplay between predisposition and a changing environment. We identify risk and resilience factors as well as underlying disease mechanisms.
