The Boysen-TU Dresden-Graduierten­kolleg mourns Wolfgang Donsbach

Far too soon and very unexpectedly Prof. Wolfgang Donsbach, co-spokesperson of the Graduiertenkolleg   passed away on Sunday, 26 July 2015. We are stunned. Our thoughts are with his family in these difficult hours.
The research training group loses with him a strong leader, who was in his dedication a reliable contact person for the needs of the doctoral students and the project.
At the same time he never lost sight of personal connection.
Prof. Donsbach became emeritus professor at his institute, the Institute of Media and Communication only at the beginning of this year, but continued working as Senior Professor.
He was a prominent personality of science and of the public. For the research training group, his early death is a tremendous loss, which has left a void.
