Boysen-TU Dresden-Research Training Group started with three teams in the 2019 REWE Team Challenge in Dresden

On the 29th of May 2019, the Boysen-TU Dresden-Research Training Group showed off its sporty side. Three teams took on the 11th REWE Team Challenge in Dresden. Side by side with managing director Dr.-Ing Anna Martius, ten doctoral students, rooted on by hundreds of spectators along the route, completed the five kilometer course leading through the historic city center and finishing in the Rudolf-Harbig Stadium.

Among the RTG’s starters, doctoral student Jakub Dostál finished at the top with a time of 21:14. With a total time of 1:40:44, the fastest team placed 349th out of 2,777 in the overall ranking of mixed teams.

With more than 650 runners starting, TU Dresden succeeded in mobilising the largest group for a single institution out of the 25,000+ running enthustiasts.
