Prof. Michael Beckmann becomes the new Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Science and Engineering (16.01.2020)

We are pleased and proud to hear that Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Beckmann, a PI of the 3rd Boysen-TU Dresden Research Training Group and supervisor of a project from Cluster A, "New Materials for the Transformation of Traffic", was chosen with a large majority as the new Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Science and Engineering of TU Dresden in the first meeting of the Faculty Council on January 15, 2020. Since 2016, Prof. Beckmann had supported the faculty as Vice Dean. He will now oversee the faculty for the next three years.

The entire Boysen-TU Dresden Research Training Group warmly congratulates Prof. Beckmann on his new position and wishes him nothing but success for the challenges ahead!
