Project Day 2021 - Hiking in Vineyards of Radebeul
On Thursday, October 7th, 2021, this year's project day led the Boysen TU Dresden Research Training Group along the vineyards of Radebeul. The hikers met in the morning, when it was still freezing cold but with sunny skies, at the Forststraße tram stop in Radebeul, from where colleague Verena Zapf (sub-project D3: Perception of noise in urban green spaces) had planned a wonderful route in a picturesque ambience: along the Sternweg, first through the Fiedlergrund, then via the Höhenweg past the Bismarck Tower in Radebeul, further down the Spitzhaus staircase, and from the Radebeul water tower to the final destination of Schloss Wackerbarth.
The interesting conversations between scholarship holders and professors in a relaxed atmosphere were accompanied by glorious sunshine throughout the day. After about 11 kilometers, the project day came to a successful end in the afternoon with a little cooling off at Schloss Wackerbarth and sunbathing in the low autumn sun.
