Travel, Draw, Stay - Susanne Vogel: Exhibition of personal travel sketches

Susanne Vogel, architect and Research Associate at the Chair of Architectural Delineation, opens her personal sketchbooks with a small selection from over twenty years of graphic exploration of experiences on journeys near and far.

The drawings were created in confrontation with the foreign outside and her own inside, following different impulses:

3-second sketches drawn while walking at the moment of observation. Concentrated notation of lines and shapes as an expression of active engagement with a place and for later remembrance. Subsequent collecting, overlaying and condensing of visual fragments and emerging thoughts.

The sketches in books and notebooks of various formats are now removed and shown in a new arrangement.

You are cordially invited to the opening of the exhibition on Tuesday, February 17 from 5.30 p.m. in the

Chair of Architectural Delineation, office building Zellescher Weg 17, B-wing, 3rd floor

Exhibition period 17.02. until at least 31.03.2026
