Healing Architecture 2025 - recognition for Schulz and Schulz
Callwey Verlag has presented the "Healing Architecture" award for the first time this year. Healthcare is no longer just about functionality - it is about creating spaces that promote healing and increase the well-being of users. This is precisely where the Healing Architecture Award comes in: It recognizes outstanding architecture and interior design projects that develop innovative, healing space concepts and set new standards in the healthcare sector. The award recognizes projects that impress with their functionality, sustainability and positive impact on users and demonstrate how architecture can influence people's health and well-being.
The expert jury selected the 33 best entries from the numerous submissions and awarded three first prizes and four commendations. Professors Ansgar and Benedikt Schulz (Chair of Architectural Design and Construction I) were awarded a commendation for their Altscherbitz Hospital - Center for Mental Health.
