Introducing the Chair of Social and Healthcare Buildings and Design
Health and social cohesion are set to become key drivers of societal and economic innovation. Architecture plays a vital role in this transformation, as it significantly shapes human behavior, thinking, and well-being. Architectural design also influences how people participate in social life - an increasingly important factor in aging societies. As such, developing strategies to address the challenges of demographic change is a central focus of both teaching and research at the Chair of Social and Healthcare Buildings and Design at TU Dresden.
