Funding approval „Strutural Design in Architecture – Blended Open Education“

We are pleased to announce that our project „Strutural Design in Architecture – Blended Open Education“ is being funded by the fond digital learning and teaching 2022/2023 of Technische Universität Dresden.

In the future our structural design teaching will be supplemented by multimedia learning contents. Lectures and exercises can be deepened with visual tools in playful ways. The main goal is to establish the interaction between force and geometry by exploring multiple configurations within the design space. Programmed online tools will be able to simulate different load cases by means of graphical statics. This supports the understanding about interaction of force and geometry in the design process.
