The WISSENSARCHITEKTUR – Laboratory of Knowledge Architecture at TUD Dresden University of Technology, the State Capital of Dresden, and the Smart City Research Network cordially invite you to the Smart City Summer School Dresden 2026, taking place September 23–25, 2026, at the Stadtforum Dresden.
Building on insights and experiences from the Smart Cities (MPSC) model projects funded by the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development, and Construction (BMWSB), the summer school aims to advance nationwide networking and interdisciplinary collaboration among stakeholders at the intersection of smart city research and application. Designed for 70 participants, the summer school will feature keynote presentations and workshops in which key smart city topics will be academically discussed and further developed.
There is no participation fee for the Summer School. However, participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses.

When: September 23, 2026, starting at 7:00 p.m.
Directions by public transportation: Take Line 11 toward Bühlau; you can board at the following stops: Dresden-Nord Main Station, Walpurgisstraße, Pragerstraße, Postplatz; get off at the Angelikastraße stop (travel time approx. 20 minutes), then walk along Fischhausstraße (approx. 15 minutes)
Directions by car: approx. 15–20 minutes from downtown
Note: The get-together and the evening activities outside the Stadtforum are on a self-pay basis.
