Adobe CC license

We did it!

Since the Winter Semester of 2022, we have been running the pilot project "Adobe Creative Cloud," which enables students of the Faculty of Architecture to purchase a discounted license for the "Adobe Creative Cloud, All Apps, Pro for Higher EDU Students."

With the fixed license price, you save about 75% of the cost compared to the student subscription!

The project is carried out in cooperation with the ZIH (Center for Information Services and High-Performance Computing), the Faculty of Architecture, and us as the FSR Architecture and Landscape Architecture.

Good news for anyone who still wants a license – it continues!

How does it work?

The contract must be correctly filled out, signed, and sent to us via email (fsr.architektur@tu-dresden.de; Subject: Name-FirstName_Adobe_WiSe24-25).

ATTENTION! You have until November 14, 2024, this semester to do so.
Once that’s done, you will receive an email with a payment request and the bank details again.

At the end of November, we will send the money and your names in bulk to the ZIH, which will then be responsible for providing you with the login details and installation information.

Since we need about 10 days to process everything, the payment deadline for you this semester is November 20, 2024.

You will have another opportunity to purchase the license at the start of the summer semester.

A quick note: The later you purchase the license, the less time you will have to use it. All licenses expire on November 22, 2025. Since the prices are adjusted based on the remaining validity period, they will vary.

If you expect to finish your studies before 22^nd of November 2025, and therefore will not be able to use the license after your deregistration, you have the option to transfer the remaining time to another student from our faculty. How you handle the transfer (e.g., asking for the remaining balance, gifting it, etc.) is entirely up to you. What’s important is that you report the change.
