Being an alumni of Bauhaus University Weimar, Jörg Rainer Noennig delivered two keynote speeches on international events celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus, the world-famour design and architecture school of the early 20th century. Upon invitation by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), he talked at the conference "Bauhaus @ 100" at Roorkee on April 6, as well as in the German Embassy in New Delhi on April 8. His talk titled "Bauhaus DNA" lined out the influence of Bauhaus education on current research in Knowledge Architecture and Digital City Science. Along with Prof Noennig, also Prof. Gerd Zimmermann, former president of Bauhaus University and Noennig´s PhD supervisor, delivered key note talks.
