Model Project Smart City Dresden
The Model Project Smart City Dresden (2022-2026), funded by the German federal government, shapes innovative measures that serve integrated, sustainable and community-oriented urban development which will being tested in model quarters of Dresden.
The WISSENSARCHITEKTUR - Laboratory of Knowledge Architecture holds the scientific leadership of the project.
Model Project Smart City Dresden
With the federal funding programme Model Projects Smart Cities, the German government is supporting 73 German cities that have been selected in three phases since 2019 and are being funded with a total of 820 million euros.
The WISSENSARCHITEKTUR team has developed a smart city strategy and will evaluate the model project continually to optimize facilitation and project synthesis.
Specially designed tools and methods will be used to generate new knowledge for smart city science.
