Since December 1, 2021, the Institute of Construction Informatics has been contributing to the development of the European cloud infrastructure GAIA-X. The holistic planning, construction and operation of buildings will be supported by so-called Smart Advanced Services (SAS).

In January 2022 the works for the installation of our CAVE will go ahead. A major step for the extension of sophisticated infrastructure available to us.

We mourn the doyen of German Bauinformatik and graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering (1958) Prof. Heinrich Werner (1931-2022). He died in Munich on January 9, 2022.
