08.08.17 - Lecture of Mr. Paulo Nigro “Model Order Reduction in Primal-Dual Interior-Point Method applied to Topology Optimization”

On August 8, 2017, Mr. Paulo Nigro from the University of São Paulo, Polytechnic School, Department of Structural and Geotechnical Engineering, visited our institute. In the afternoon, he gave a lecture entitled "Model Order Reduction in Primal-Dual Interior-Point Method applied to Topology Optimization", in which he presented his research results. Model Order Reduction (MOR) methods are employed in many fields of Engineering in order to reduce the processing time of complex computational simulations.
