On the 1st of March 2019 Dr. Franze accepted a call to the University of Applied Sciences Dresden (professorship of mechanics and dynamics in civil engineering).
Research
- fiber-reinforced materials (analytical and numerical description of quasistatic as well as dynamic roving pullout)
- dynamics of systems with variable mass (influence of non-material boundary conditions on the formulation of equations of motion; technical applications)
- characterization of memristive material behaviour
- didactics of technical subjects (characteristics of the knowledge transfer in technical degree programmes; prediction of study progress with psychodiagnostical tools)
