Handover of the institute

After a festive event in the Dreikönigskirche on March 16, 2023, the institute was formally transferred from Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Frohmut Wellner to his successor Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Alexander Zeißler (see BauBlog article). Since April 1, 2023 Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Alexander Zeißler is now officially the head of the Institute of Urban and Pavement Engineering as well as the holder of the Chair of Pavement Engineering.

We would like to thank Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Frohmut Wellner for his decades of work and achievements and wish him a fulfilling and active retirement.

We promise to continue research and teaching in Pavement Engineering in his spirit.
