Abstract
The aim of this project is to develop a new bitumen emulsion/mortar to significantly improve the durability of the layer bond in general and in particular on milled surfaces of the asphalt layers remaining in the pavement.
Furthermore, the effective layer bond is to be included in a realistic form in computational dimensioning and prognosis procedures and the bitumen emulsion/mortar is to be optimized with regard to its service properties with the aid of an overall evaluation concept.
