Current events

This year's Dresden Steel Construction Conference on 28 March 2019 will cover the topics of high-strength steels, riveted structures, fatigue strength, construction with sandwich elements and fire design. In addition, the adidas ARENA project in Herzogenaurach, which was awarded the German Engineering Prize for Steel Construction at the BAU 2019 trade fair in Munich, will be presented. Backgrounds and developments in European standardisation and building code law will be explained. As in previous years, renowned speakers will give presentations on the respective specialist topics and make their manuscripts available in the conference proceedings.

The conference is aimed at planning offices, construction companies, engineers and designers as well as all those who would like to deal with the content and practical aspects of the European regulations and the technical developments in the design and execution of steel and composite structures.
