The ITS supports the institutes of the faculty in the fulfillment of teaching and research tasks in the field of information technology and data processing. Courses are offered by the FCC in the diploma course and bachelor course (distance learning) in Civil Engineering and in the Master's Program ACCESS. The subject of research at the ITS are sensitivity analysis methods, machine learning methods and methods for modeling uncertainty.

The ITS offers following services:

• Securing the data processing applications of the Dean's office, the team distance learning and the central PC pool,

• Helping institutions to secure their computer applications,

• Helping institutes to fulfill educational tasks in the field of information technology and data processing,

• Plotting special formats,

• Provision of PC workstations for study and documentation work,

• Identity verification (for issue or renewal of digital certificates).
