Save The Date: July 19 to 21, 2023 - Focus Conference Lessons Learned
On July 19 to 21, the focus conference Lessons Learned will take place for the fifth time. All teachers and people interested in teaching from all departments of the TUD as well as from other universities and colleges are cordially invited to participate in the event. This is an opportunity to network across the boundaries of one's own subject culture and to learn from each other.
The focus conference Lessons Learned is a series of events dealing with the challenges and opportunities of digital university teaching. Initiated in September 2020 by the Faculty of Mechanical Science and Engineering, the conference developed into a nationwide forum for the exchange of experiences and concepts from different departments. The goal of the conference is innovative development of teaching that prepares students for the future world of work in a meaningful way, focusing on a balanced mix of face-to-face and online formats. Topics such as blended learning, evaluation, AI-supported data research and professional communication will be discussed intensively at the conference. Both successes and failures as well as best practice examples will be presented. A special feature of the fifth Lessons Learned conference will be two workshops in which practical tools for application in one's own teaching will be given.
The contributions will be published in the Lessons Learned Journal.
Until 23.06. the participation in the conference costs 75 € for TUD members and 100 € for external participants. Abstracts can be submitted until 05.07.
All information about the event can be found on the conference website. (Please note: The website is only available in German.)
