Vote and join in the excitement: Will the German Mobility Award go to TU Dresden?
With their project "MoveOn - Cycling Data for Germany", Sven Lißner and his team from the Friedrich List Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences have made it onto the shortlist for this year's German Mobility Award. They have been nominated in the "Digital Transformation and AI" category alongside two other projects that are also converting data-driven systems into applications and products, thereby advancing the digital transformation in transportation.
The German Mobility Award is one of the most important awards in the field of digital and mobility and is presented annually by the Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport (BMDV). An audience award will be presented for the first time this year: between this Sunday, October 20 from 12:30 p.m. and Monday, October 21, around 12:15 p.m., everyone can vote for their favorite at https://mobilitaetspreis.de/. The award ceremony will take place on October 21 as part of the German government's Digital Summit in Frankfurt am Main. Around 1,500 representatives from science, business, politics and civil society will be there to discuss international cooperation, digital sovereignty and innovation and establish new networks. The Mobility Award jury consists of leading experts from the fields of digital and mobility, including "Friedrich List" faculty alumni Prof. Dr. Angela Francke, who has held an Endowed Chair for Cycling in Kassel since 2021. A livestream of the event will be available from 11:30 am. In it, all nominated projects will present themselves within one minute to win over the audience and the last votes.
We wish Sven Lißner and his team every success in Frankfurt - and will be voting vigorously from Sunday: https://mobilitaetspreis.de/
