Dear participants of the ENERDAY,

Up to now, we thought that a regular organisation of the ENERDAY would be feasible.

The current situation with COVID-19 is very arduous and toilsome for all of us as it is wholly unprecedented. It calls for greater than usual mindfulness, prudence, solidarity and flexibility, not only in our private lives, but also at our business.

According to the decree of the Saxon Ministry of Social Affairs (SMS), valid from 12th March 2020, 8:00am, a risk assessment of events (such as the ENERDAY) are to be applied restrictively. The duration of this measure has not been announced. Events attended by international guests, especially by those coming from SARS-CoV-2 high-risk areas, should be cancelled in accordance with this decree or take place without these visitors. The same applies to events, which are expected to attract visitors from heavily affected federal states, such as North Rhine-Westphalia, Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria.

Due to these developments and recent recommendations, we have decided to cancel the ENERDAY at 8th May!

With this decision, we hope that we can contribute to non-spreading of the virus.
