The NEXUS Seminar – summer term of 2018
The NEXUS Seminar, the seminar series born out of the collaboration between TU Dresden and the Dresden based Institute for Integrated management of Material Fluxes and of Resources at the United Nations University (UNU-FLORES), goes into the next round. Since 2015, the NEXUS Seminar offers scientific contributions relating to the subject of sustainable soil, water and waste management. The seminar is not only a platform for scientific exchange and cooperation between UNU-FLORES and TU Dresden but also a medium for researchers to present their research and discuss it with a broader audience.
The Seminars in the summer term of 2018 are as follows:
- 16. April 2018 –„Does it pay to account for natural ressources? “ with Prof. E. Günther, chair of business management, esp. environmental management at TU Dresden, Founder and Head of the Center for Performance and Policy Research in Sustainability Measurement and Assessment PRISMA. - 18. Juni 2018 –„Assessing and managing humanenvironment systems: concepts, methods, and outcomes“ with Prof. J. Schanze, chair of environmental development and risk management, steering group member of the Center for Advanced Water Research and deputy chairman of PRISMA.
