“Hot Seat” with Transport and Traffic Sciences
Railroads, public transport & bicycles: Our new “Hot Seat” features students of transport and traffic sciences
Why is Deutsche Bahn always late? The students of transport and traffic sciences try to find explanations and reveal how things could be done better in our “Hot Seat.” They also reveal whether they really play model trains during their studies, what their favorite means of transport is and what they think the transport of the future will look like.
In the video, we also ask whether the students all have to be plane or train spotters and used to spend their weekends at the park railroad in order to study at the “Friedrich List” Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences. By the way, we filmed the episode of the YouTube format in the Railway Operation Laboratory and the flight simulator of the Gerhart Potthoff Building, where students do a variety of internships during their studies.
The “Hot Seat” video series gives us the chance to talk to our staff, students and alumni and answer some of the most interesting or most asked questions submitted by our Instagram community. Every Wednesday, we release a new video on both of our YouTube channels: Discover TU Dresden (TU Dresden entdecken) and Try TU Dresden (TU Dresden probieren)
