Are you ready to make a difference in our ways of living? Enter the 2nd edition of the #NewEuropeanBauhaus Prizes!
For the second time, the European Commission has announced prizes for the "New European Bauhaus". The prizes will recognize and celebrate existing beautiful, sustainable, and inclusive achievements and support the younger generation to further develop emerging concepts and ideas. As in the first call (April 2021), the prizes will be awarded in two areas:
- New European Bauhaus Awards for existing completed projects
- New European Bauhaus Rising Stars for ideas by young talents aged 30 or less
There will be prizes in four different categories that reflect the thematic axes of transformation identified during the New European Bauhaus’ co-design phase and are inspired by the views and experiences of thousands of EU citizens and organisations:
- Reconnecting with nature
- Regaining a sense of belonging
- Prioritising the places and people that need it the most
- Shaping a circular industrial ecosystem and supporting life-cycle thinking
A total of 18 prizes are being offered, each with funding of between 10,000 and 30,000 Euros. Individuals and institutions are eligible to apply; joint applications are also possible.
The deadline for submissions is on February 28th, 2022 at 19:00 CET.
