Cooperation with the faculty of architecture of the VGU in Ho Chi Minh City
Since fall 2022, the Chair of Structural Design of TU Dresden (Prof. Dr. Matthias Beckh) has been supporting the architecture faculty of the Vietnamese-German University in Ho Chi Minh City.
In early November, M. Sc. Iuliia Lebedeva instructed the subject "Fundamentals of Structural Design" for the first time as part of a two-week block seminar.
The Vietnamese-German University (VGU) is a university project initiated by the Vietnamese government and the state of Hesse.
On the German side, the project is supported by the State of Hesse and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The DAAD contributes its international expertise and supports the establishment and expansion of the VGU in an advisory, administrative and financial capacity.
