Nomination for the German Natural Stone Award 2026

From a total of 115 submitted projects, 22 outstanding natural stone architecture projects were nominated at the jury meeting on March 3 in Nuremberg in the categories Public and Commercial Buildings, Residential Buildings, Building Interiors, Open Space Design and Landscape Architecture as well as the Young Student Award.

The new German Embassy building in Vienna, built by Professors Ansgar and Benedikt Schulz (Chair of Architectural Design and Construction I), was nominated in Category A: Public and Commercial Buildings. The four category winners and the winner of the German Natural Stone Award 2026 will be announced at the award ceremony in June 2026.
