Project start "Digital parametric planning processes for resource-saving redensification in timber construction"
At the beginning of May, the research project "Digital parametric planning processes for resource-saving re-densification in timber construction" started at the Chair of Structural Planning (Prof. Dr.-Ing. Matthias Beckh). The aim of the project funded by the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (DBU) is the development of adaptive timber support systems that react to existing buildings using a fully parameterized planning approach and guide loads to clearly defined support points in a freely exciting manner. The project is carried out by Dip.-Ing. Sebastian Bartsch and Dipl.-Ing. Oliver Beyer.
