Prof. Karl-Heinz Feger was formally appointed a corresponding member of the Académie d'Agriculture de France on January 8, 2025.

The Paris-based academy, which was founded in 1761, is a renowned scientific society in the fields of agriculture, nutrition and the environment. It is dedicated to explaining the technical, economic, social and environmental challenges in rural areas. It also aims to educate society and decision-makers.

This award recognizes Professor Feger's achievements in soil and water-related environmental research. The appointment is also intended to promote scientific exchange between France and Germany.
