EXTENSION! BASF InfraService & Solutions Lausitz GmbH 2026 Awards

BASF InfraService & Solutions Lausitz GmbH and the TUD Dresden University of Technology present the BASF Schwarzheide GmbH Award to recognize outstanding term papers, theses, and dissertations that focus in particular on sustainability, the circular economy, or digitalization.

Nominations for the award may be submitted by faculty members at the TUD. Self-nominations are also accepted. The works must have been completed between March 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026. The award is endowed with a maximum of 1,500 euros per work . The call for nominations has been extended. The submission deadline has been moved from June 30, 2026, to September 30, 2026. Nominations must be submitted via email by September 30, 2026, to the Office of the Rector/Committee Support, Jenny Petermann, and must include the completed form, a detailed justification, a copy of the thesis, copies of the reviews, the applicant’s curriculum vitae and list of publications, as well as copies of the transcript, the university degree certificate or a copy of the doctoral degree certificate, via email by September 30, 2026, to the Office of the Rector/Academic Committees, Jenny Petermann, email: .

The evaluation and selection of the award recipients will be carried out by a jury consisting of representatives from BASF Schwarzheide GmbH as well as faculty members from the relevant departments at TUD. The BASF Schwarzheide GmbH Sponsorship Award ceremony will take place at TUD in a festive setting.

BASF InfraService & Solutions Lausitz GmbH is the operating company of the Lausitz Industrial Park.
