Tasks
The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering consists of the Faculties of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Transportation and Traffic Science "Friedrich List" and Business and Economics. The School is a central unit of TU Dresden.
The School will contribute to the creation and use of synergetic advantages in research, teaching and administration through bundling different tasks to optimize administrative processes and support functions for the benefit of its faculties.
In this context, the School is responsible in particular in the field of organizing selected study programmes and the development of new interdisciplinary degree programmes, the promotion of joint research projects, the development of a common research infrastructure and the implementation of joint doctoral programmes and the pooling of support processes.
The School is administated by a board. This board is supported by a counceling committee. The School Management implements the decision of the board.
