The workshop "Motherhood and Science - Empowerment for Mothers* and Further Training for Equal Opportunities Officers" offers a space for mothers* to share their experiences in science and to network with each other.

In addition to current data on the compatibility of motherhood and academia, structural disadvantages that mothers* face in academia will be discussed. The founders of the "Mutterschaft & Wissenschaft" network, Dr Lena Eckert and Dr Sarah Czerney, will lead the workshop.

The workshop will enable participants to experience both solidarity and individual empowerment. In addition, it offers equality actors the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the topic.

The workshop will take place on Thursday, 25 January 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Weberplatz teaching building (room 219).
