Workshop: Self-efficacy as a woman in tech?
Workshop: Self-efficacy as a woman in tech?
The proportion of women in technical degree programs is often below 20% – despite many female students being passionate about mathematics, computer science, engineering, or related fields. This discrepancy raises questions: What structures hinder visibility and participation? How can empowerment and networking be specifically strengthened?
This workshop aims to create a space where female students from technical fields can openly share their experiences, goals, and doubts. The focus is on collective reflection on personal strengths, individual paths, and societal frameworks – with the goal of fostering self-efficacy and developing new perspectives.
In addition to interactive exercises and practical tools for everyday study life, the workshop offers the opportunity to network with other female students – from mutual orientation to supporting each other throughout the course of their studies.
