Welcome to Dresden

Dresden, the capital city of the state of Saxony, is situated in the South-East of Germany at the river Elbe. The city forms the heart of one of today's most dynamic economic regions. It is well-known for its rich cultural heritage and an overwhelming ensemble of originally reconstructed traditional buildings like the Frauenkirche, the Zwinger ensemble or the Semperoper.

One Conference & Three Societies

OR2019 is the annual scientific conference of the national Operations Research Societies of Germany (GOR), Austria (ÖGOR) as wel as Switzerland (SVOR). All three societies invites researchers as well as students from every country to join this inspiring scientific conference.

SCientific Program

The scientific program includes three plenary presentations, several semi-plenary presentations as well as more than 400 contributed talks.

Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden)

The Technische Universität Dresden is one of the largest technical universities in Germany. More than 120 disciplines are organized in 18 faculties which are grouped in five schools. About 33.500 students are enrolled today and more than 11.300 employees from over 70 countries are working here.
OR2019 is a conference supported by the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The Faculty of Transport and Traffic Science as well as the Faculty of Business and Economics act as the host of OR2019.

Your Contribution

You can contribute to OR2019 by organizing a session or by submitting an abstract of your talk about every OR-related topic.
You are entitled to submit a full paper to the review processes for the conference proceedings that will be published by Springer.
You are very welcomed just to listen to latest developments in Operations Research and to meet your colleagues as well as old and new friends.
