Dates of registration for the exams

Registration and deregistration for the modules in selma (at first) 01.10. - 15.01. of the following year and 01.04. - 30.06.

Registration and deregistration for early examinations and examinations parallel to studies (for example: seminar, home work,
Portfolio)

 Beginning of the 2nd week of lectures until the end of October or April.

Registration and deregistration for the regular examinations: 01.12. - 15.01. of the following year and 01.06. - 30.06.
Core examination period Monday, 09.02.2026 to
Saturday, 07.03.2026

The enrollment deadline is an official deadline and therefore a cut-off date. After the end of the enrollment period, applications for subsequent examination registrations will NOT be accepted according to the decision of the examination boards. Unless there are reasons for which the student is not responsible for missing the deadline. The reasons must be communicated to the examination office.

2. You must also register for the language course you have chosen in Selma for modules (M1600-xxxx) and examinations (M1600-xxxx) during the faculty's regular examination registration period.
3. You must also register with TUDIAS in Selma (T30xx-xxxx), please note the important information from TUDIAS on exam registration

Notes on registration or Deregistration

  • Registration for exams is done online via Selma.  (instructions in German / English) Please note that you must register for the module first and then for the exam.
  • Students who cannot register via Selma, please fill out this form and hand in the signed form in time (!) to the examination office within the registration period.
  • The end of the enrollment period must be observed! After the end of the enrolment period, applications for subsequent examination registrations will NOT be accepted in accordance with the decisions of the examination boards. Unless there are reasons for which the student is not responsible for missing the deadline. The reasons must be communicated to the Examinations Office.
