My research focuses on tree ecophysiology with emphasis on heat, salinity and drought stress responses. I employ primarily gas-exchange, chlorophyll fluorescence, stomatal morphology, sap-flow and dendrometer methods/measurements to analyse leaf and individual level carbon-water balance of trees. I am also interested in tree provenance and assisted migration research for climate change adaptation strategies in forestry.
