Profile
The main focus areas of the chair are phytodiversity and nature conservation strategies under the conditions of sustainable land use management and global change. Our work combines evidence-based vegetation-ecological research and theory-oriented and conversion-oriented nature conservation research. Modern and innovative biodiversity and nature conservation research is highly interdisciplinary. Therefore, close cooperations with other research groups of the TUD Dresden University of Technology as well as with national and international cooperation partners exist. We work with a wide range of methods in research and education.
