Research Interests
I have a background in water management with a focus on water quality and modelling groundwater flow. Within my PhD, I concentrate on root grafting of black mangroves from a network perspective. For my research I use agent-based modelling to simulate the distribution of resources through root grafts and investigate costs and benefits for trees that are part of a group.
Projects
- Since 2019: "Kropotkin's Garden: Networking beats competition in the struggle for limited resources" funded by VolkswagenStiftung
