The Chair of Forest Growth and Dendrosciences offers courses in the Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in Forest Sciences and in the Master’s programme in Tropical Forestry. Key topics include forest mensuration, tree and forest growth, dendroecology, and the effects of global change on forests.

Teaching

Our courses focus on the ecology of tree and forest growth and on forest mensuration. We also supervise Bachelor’s and Master’s theses.

Our teaching is closely linked to the Chair’s research.
