Michael Krell Appointed to the TU Dresden Anniversary Advisory Board
In May 2028, TU Dresden will kick off the celebrations marking the 200th anniversary of its founding, thereby launching the subsequent anniversary festivities. The 200-day celebration program, running through November 2028, offers an opportunity to highlight and strengthen the relevance, impact, and societal contribution of TU Dresden in the region, in Saxony, and in Germany. The anniversary will thus not only commemorate past achievements and celebrate current accomplishments, but also pave the way for future developments, transformations, and successes at TU Dresden.
Michael Krell, a Research Associate at the Chair of Human Geography, has now been appointed to the Anniversary Advisory Board. With their diverse perspectives, the members of the Anniversary Advisory Board will advise and support the university administration and project management through regular meetings until 2028 in the further development of the program, offering suggestions and ideas as well as critical reflection and important insights. At the same time, they will serve as advocates to promote public awareness of the university’s anniversary, share information within their networks, and thereby enhance its visibility. With their expertise and experience across various fields, the members of the Anniversary Advisory Board will effectively enrich the preparations and planning efforts through 2028.
