Studying at the Chair of Human Geography

In the interdisciplinary studies of geography, human geography deals with spatial consequences, implications and dependences of human actions. The focal points of our teaching activities include population geography, economic geography, settlement and urban geography, social geography, social science methods and project work. Our courses are aimed at enrolled students of all geography degree programmes (Bachelor, Master, and teaching profession).

India excursion report

In September 2023, eight students and two lecturers from the TUD traveled to northern India to gain an insight, as comprehensive as possible, into the country from a human geographical and ethnological perspective.
