New employee Danielle Warstat introduces herself

Hello dear colleagues and students,

My name is Friederike Freund and I have been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Land Management since November 2025.

My path to the professorship has been rather unusual. I completed a dual bachelor's degree in wood and wood-based materials technology at the Dresden Academy of Cooperative Education, specializing in furniture and interior design. This is where I discovered my interest in planning. In order to be able to plan not only interiors but also exteriors, I decided to pursue a master's degree in spatial development and natural resource management at the Technical University of Dresden. While working as a working student at the Chair of Land Management, I came into contact with the INTEGRAL and KlimaKonform projects. My work on these projects ultimately led me to the chair. I am currently working on project proposals and will be supporting teaching activities.

I am looking forward to the coming period and to working with colleagues and students.
