Sep 03, 2026 - Sep 05, 2026; Symposium
EALD Symposium
The symposium aims to explore innovative solutions and foster dialogue on sustainable spatial development in both rural and urban contexts. It will focus on integrating circular principles into land use and spatial development systems, restoring soil health, and promoting more efficient, regenerative, and inclusive approaches to land governance. Contributions on other forms of sustainable land use and spatial development are also welcome. In addition, topics related to innovative approaches to spatial monitoring, analysis, and forecasting of land use change and real property development are encouraged, as these are particularly important in times of change in urban and rural areas. To address challenges such as climate change, overheated housing markets, roperty issues and land use conflicts, it is essential that decision-making is based on innovative, substantiated, and data-driven findings.
